"Il n'y a pour l'homme que trois évènements: naître, vivre et mourir. Il ne sent pas naître, il souffre à mourir, et il oublie de vivre." "There are but three Events which concern mankind; Birth, Life and Death. They know nothing of their Birth, submit to die, and forget to live." Jean de la Bruyère

working life Work keeps getting stranger and stranger. I think we are on the cusp of a breakthrough. Really? Who knows. Feels full of possibility, though. SuRu and I had lunch. Thought of Brio Visto but it failed the first test: we couldn't find a place to park. Ended up standing in a line and eating outside at Texadelphia. Boy lunch is busy in our work hood. We walked around Pier One afterward. We didn't buy anything. Spent a pleasant evening at home. FFP came home from working out at the club and fixed fish and salad. Very tasty. I read the paper. I'm so dull. I like being home in my house. Soon I'll be sitting in hotel rooms and WISHING I were here. I spend a lot of time at work. Visitors are often amazed at my office. I'm used to it and don't really notice the chaos until I take a picture of it.
