one day week Yesterday the background went white. I'm going to start having a little fun with the background. This one is a little busy, of course. I do like this timely stolen pic from eBay, though. I go to work after helping my mom a little more in her quest to learn the computer. I finish a futile project. So I can start some other probably futile projects, but futile projects with more prospects. SuRu and I eat at Texas French Bread. (New sandwich: mufuletta. Not their best effort.) We go to the bookstore and I buy a pile of magazines about video and independent film. Never get the tiniest interest in anything without buying a bunch of books and magazines, that's my rule. I buy Mom an Easy PC's book. It explains thing like what the little icons in the corner of a Windows window is. Whew! I've been explaining these things. Patiently for sure. We have an extended family dinner (SuRu, M&D, Forrest and I) of leg of lamb, green beans, sweet potatoes (thanks, Mom) and pasta (thanks, Ru) and some wine (thanks, cellar). The food is good. I tell Mom she can continue to live with us. Dad, too, if he keeps handling the trash and the compost. I clean the pots and pans and SuRu and I load the dishwasher. I doze in front of the TV and then read myself to sleep. I'm dull, dull, dull. |
