the artists Work has my head spinning. I hate the parts you can't do yourself, the parts where the whole organization has to move. The evening was spent pleasantly. Forrest and I went to a lecture on the ballet 'Hamlet' that Ballet Austin is doing. I will miss the actual ballet. The lecture was interesting. It was held at Zilker clubhouse. We always forget how to get there and how lovely the view is. No A.C. though. I have lunch with Mom and Dad. Mom has made tomato soup, some guacamole, some salad and they have some sliced ham. We eat on the screened porch. They like eating out there. Mother has the dining table covered with her valance sewing project. We popped over to Jeffrey's where Johnny Guffy waited on us. Kisha, one of our young friends, was there. "We should economize," says himself. "We are. We didn't order caviar and we ordered this $20 bottle of wine, not a $50 bottle. It's all relative." says I. The wine, a Zin with a picture of a bullfighter on it, was delicious. Probably $8.95 at a wine store, too. "I've been staying away from Gardens and Capra and Cavelli. No plants and no clothes." says himself.
