BELGRADE, Maine to BUFFALO, NY July 18, 2005 — We get up very early. The coffee is in the breakfast room, however. FFP fills up our cups and we head out. It is not even six in the morning.

It is over seven hundred miles to Buffalo. We will spend two nights there so we can go see Niagara Falls.

FFP drives first. I take over for a long stretch. We roll through toll booths, stop for gas, eat snacks, drink coffee.

Before five we are in Buffalo and have located our hotel. We get checked in and settled and

then go to a nearby Italian place where we eat way too much food. An evening of TV and rest, readying ourselves to be tourists is in order.

We fall asleep. After tomorrow's tourist experience we will be just driving home. That's hard to believe.
