working but still working on moving I go to work today, but stop off at the parents first to leave a few things that they have left behind at my house unintentionally and to take them some of the boxes from our storage room. At work, I don't have any meetings so I peacefully study things and work on some communication tasks. At lunch, SuRu accompanies me to Office Depot (legal size hanging folders for Dad and a bunch of ink jet papers and forms for me) and Circuit City (a cheap TV for Mom). I stand in front of the bank of small TVs. We are both overwhelmed by the choices. I finally choose a kind of cheap one but one that has an audio in on the front because I want to hook up my digital camera to it. I leave work early (hey, I went to meetings on my days off) and help dad break down some boxes. A gal from work stops by and we get rid of a bunch of them and a lot of the packing paper, too. SuRu comes by and I hook up the TV and we arrange the furniture in the living room so that it sort of looks like a real room. Dad goes off to Randall's and gets some fried chicken. SuRu and I take one to go and go home. I enjoy just being in my own house, left to my own devices, sitting in my messy office, all alone. (FFP is at Westwood working out.) I enjoyed having the parents, but I enjoy them having their own place, too, and I think they are getting into it.
