Austin, TEXAS, January 27, 2006 My day? Fine. The usual. A workout. Good intentions for doing stuff around the house unfulfilled. Shopped for some inexpensive plates for the party. Went to a museum show opening briefly, went to a Cabaret show and had dinner and drinks and enjoyed the show. But enough about me. My dad's day? He went to his church for 'Senior Activity Day.' Games and snacks. Then to lunch and a movie (Casanova oddly enough...too slapstick for him, friend dozed now and then he said). Then to a dinner with a friend of mine and her mom and another friend of ours. Big day for Dad. Not that he is not active a lot. He gets over to do water aerobics. He |

does errands...getting a car wash, getting a haircut, buying groceries, going to doctors, the bank, picking up prescriptions, laundry. But this day was all fun stuff. Cool. I really don't think we have consciousness beyond life, but if my mother's consciousness is out there somewhere in the ether she is saying: "He never went to the movies with me!" |
