Kids are so advanced.
This baby leaps tall buildings while his three-year-old brother takes
his picture with my digital camera.

preparations
Getting ready to go somewhere to
relax can be less than relaxing.
You have to pack.
You have to arrange for house sitting and dog sitting and emergencies
and contingencies. Even though you'll be checking your messages, taking
your cellphone, dragging along a laptop for e-mail. Can one then relax
with all that preparation and such? It depends. I'll try.

JUST
TYPING
I noticed.
That the dog needed nothing more.
Than a baggie of food, a packet of pills, a measuring cup and a leash.
We needed three bags.
One full of electronics.

Food Diary.
clean slate
I should have eaten breakfast, probably,
but I didn't.
I did eat a couple of bites of ham.
Salmon salad at Florida Seafood
Grill.
Some cheese (two ounces) and chips.
Some grapes.
Stuffed zucchini, rice, a little
black beans. Oh, a bunch of chips and salsa. A cup of Mexican coffee with
brown sugar and cinnamon.

Time flies....
I gained some time by doing my workout
earlier in the morning than usual.
It takes time to pack especially
when you are interrupted by stuff constantly.

Reading.
The Pleasure of Finding Things
Out, The Best Short Works of Richard P. Feynman is intriguing.
It's really going pretty fast for a book where you have to think about
physics and NAND gates and atoms to get his points. Physics is not my
best subject. Maybe I should learn more about physics.

No time to
write when one is preparing to relax. But I packed a notebook.
