Yeah, I do these
steps all the time.

frittering away
Sometimes time just evaporates.

How much time
have I spent over the years backing up stuff that I never used. Insurance.
Of course, you never have just what you need when you do need
a backup. I had one of those PC-XT machines a couple of decades ago
that had the disk controller that failed and ate hard drives. Seems
all I did while I tried to develop on that thing was make backups.
On those old floppies that were floppy and held, what, 360KB?
Today I worked
on different backup schemes for my network. I found a way to do things
from one computer to boot other ones. Bizarre.

JUST
TYPING
I think that
I'll just quote myself.
Quoting has become tiresome.
Go forth and quote no more.
Until I see something that just must be repeated.

Eating? Must have done. Here's what I jotted in my paper notebook:
- Two bowls of salad with broccoli, carrots, spinach, cheese, dressing,
squash, zucchini.
- Salmon with tartar sauce, lemon juice.
- Canned asparagus with dressing.
- Salad with spinach and mozzarella.
- Cheese, hot sauce, garlic chips.
- Wine.

Reading.
Read a little newspaper and some
of Peter the Great..

What's my
excuse today?
Worrying about computers. Still.
