back to normal? SuRu and Zoey and I took a walk. Chalow had a surgery and couldn't go. Or so we told her, you know. She had this growth removed yesterday. It was huge. She must have lost 10-20% of her body weight. The incision is about seven inches. On little Chalow, this is significant. SuRu and Zoey and I chose SoCo. I kept thinking I forgot something. That would be Chalow! We sat outside Jo's for a coffee and I described my CPA who lives, loves, offices and has clients in the neighborhood and she came, as if on cue, across the street with a dog in tow. In the afternoon, I did things like ride the exercise bike, do a bit of yard work. (I cleaned out an area behind the shed, cutting some bamboo and finding a couple of things for large item pickup which is coming to the neighborhood.) I went to the camera store with a ZIP disk and tried to make some prints. The printer was making red and blue streaks across the prints. Only a few were usable. I had to leave the disk and the bad prints (for cropping guides) with the store. Disappointing. I wanted instant gratification. It seems to be the way of the world these days. Our friends invited us over for a meal. The friend who sang in New York and all over is cooking. Her Italian mom in the kitchen, too. There is beef and ravioli and great salad. We've all brought wine so all different kinds. FFP talks everyone into watching Six Feet Under. |
