take a break Work felt hard and yet not productive today. Discussing things with people. Trying to make sense. Trying to see what my role in all of it is. How can I help. Thinking about the constant change in our business. But I am taking a break. I'm taking off. I'm getting away. FFP holds down the home front. I going to take a road trip with my parents. I will forget about work and relax. Right? I will, won't I? Won't driving far away help? I thought I was packing light. But I've got a bunch of stuff anyway. Packing light is an art I haven't perfected. In the end I always take too many socks, too many shirts and a bunch of gadgets. Vacation. Relax. Repeat after me. I'm feeling tense. It's supposed to be a vacation. I thought about the whole day and it was dull, dull, dull in a lot of ways. Maybe the driving and being in a different city will give me something to write about, huh?
