mom is back in form Up and dressed and off with Dad to see Mom. She is much better. She is complaining about the food. And a few other things. I get to work and try to finish a project. I have a video conference committee meeting that stretches from 11 to 1. I think of all the committees I've been on. I bounce some ideas off one of the guys after that in the hall. I call Mom after this and she is chipper. They think she is losing too much sodium and they are restricting her liquids. I make some nachos for lunch using some cheese and jalapenos I've tucked away in the office refrigerator. I leave work a little early. FFP and Dad and I go to Fonda and I get Dad some rotisserie chicken. I have tortilla soup and spinach salad. Dad and I take the newspapers and go see Mom and she reads the comics and watches TV. She is as good as I've seen her. Surely they'll dismiss her tomorrow. So tired, haven't slept well. So we go home and I doze in front of the TV and read a bit. I decide to do a couple of e-mails. FFP has discovered this bizarre java thesaurus and I try that out. You click, words link. Amusing for a while. |
