mirrors Work. Meetings. Walk the dogs. SuRu and I are bored so we walk over by the community gardens and to Lamar and by the Starbucks. I worked the crossword puzzle in the Times and The Statesman. Times puzzle has these funny answers like 'off the outs' and 'on one's rocker.' I finished it. But it is only Tuesday. The picture today is, well, mirrors. Berlin. The Reichstag. Forrest made a nice salmon with some take-out vegies. My life is kind of boring. Time to go read something interesting.

"All political power is primarily an illusion....Illusion. Mirrors and blue smoke, beautiful blue smoke rolling over the surface of highly polished mirrors, first a thin veil of blue smoke, then a thick cloud that suddenly dissolves into wisps of blue smoke, the mirrors catching it all, bouncing it back and forth." Jimmy Breslin, How the Good Guys Finally Won, Notes from an Impeachment Summer (1975) |
