dashing about Of note: we present to two customers. Rooms full of managers and techies. No women. It's rainy. The customers aren't close together. We eat a five-minute meal in my Dutch colleague's car. We buy this lunch in a gas station. This is the life. We get a beautiful French dinner, though. From the salesman from the second call. I have the foie gras appetizer and the sweetbreads entreé. This is the fun we are supposed to be having Back to the hotel to await another round. Oh, boy. |
