Introspection isn't that demanding. Codifying the stuff sure as heck
is. Heck, codifying mundane details in a time-consuming thing. Not to
mention the time it takes away from things like figuring out what we're
going to eat tomorrow, seeing to the rest of the things around the house,
and general woolgathering.
Here I've missed all kinds of days writing my thoughts down. I'll have
to do better!
Well, it was fun last night-giving a presentation at Rebecca's CD party
and then going to the Nutcracker Ball. Rebecca was really nervous-but
came through like a trooper. Got a chance to get duded up in my tux
and new tie and vest and talk about how the CD came to pass. Nice ego
trip and God knows, I'm a ham. On Thursday night, I get to be Mother
Ginger at the Dress Rehearsal, so I need to practice up for that. Saw
Amy Dickson at the CD party last night. She had her brother and boy
friend with her. Really was good to see her; I do miss having her around.
She should have a terrific career ahead of her.
The older I get, the more I just like making things happen for other
people rather than trying to get things for myself. Maybe you could
say that it's an adjustment in my scoreboard. Right now, I'm trying
to help get Rebecca's CD up the charts and there is a chance I can really
aid a client in some behind the scene way. There's also an arts project
we're getting involved with.
One good thing about his time of year-you don't get bored. I almost
forgot to send our money in for the Johnson-Long party on Dec. 12th.
And man, could I stand to learn some more about Dreamweaver-which I
think I will do right now. Enough with this codifying.
