Feb. 26
Woke up and made coffee the old way. Hmmph! Our $900 Capresso machine
is having to be sent back to its maker for R&R. Guess we wore the
thing out. While I was sitting at the breakfast table, it started hailing.
Linda rushed to the back door and took a shot of it happening. Now it's
just raining. I hope it dries out enough for me to plant some of the
cool things I bought yesterday.
Well, let's see what I can do with this weekend. In some ways, having
the freedom to do whatever you want is more of a burden than being strapped
and having to fight every day for your sustenance. In the latter case,
there's no time to waste thinking about what to do. You just pick up
your sword and go fight. Now I can lounge around and contemplate. That's
kind of a problem. Relaxation doesn't come naturally to me and I've
got so much energy that I'm going to need to find ways to channel it.
Met a really nice young lady named Ansley Netherland last night who
is freiends with Travis, the artist who works at the Four Seasons. His
work is on nextmonet.com--you have to do the artist search. Let's see
if I can link here.
Travis's
work.
Well, enough of this. I'm going to go get into mischief.
