What is it with these tv commercials? Like one I saw today--nothing
but video and some expensive music underneath. A groundhog pokes his
head up and some rabbits run around. A few times, they flash up some
text on screen. What in the heck is this all about? You're telling me
that the only way you could understand the message is to intently watch
the video? If somebody gets up to brew a pot of coffee, they've lost
the connection.
So we're saying that the new generation of consumers can't listen?
Well, maybe so.
Anyway, so far this year, I've already made more off of just spending
time playing and watching the market than I would have off a year's
worth of backbreaking work on the accounts I resigned--so hey, let's
go for it. To be more specific, one tip I got off CNBC
made up for the one big account I quit--and it shows no signs of stopping.
Go figure. I think Ball had the right idea.
