can't resist tinkering
A day in which I tinker and tinker,
because I can't stop myself.
When I get a new
system, I tell myself I will do everything deliberately. I will plan.
I will backup stuff. I will understand the implicatons.
But then I am sucked
in by what's new, what's working, what's not, the new speed, the new
vast vista of disk space. And so I tinker. For better or worse. And
the new system starts to look as cluttered as the trunk of my car.

JUST
TYPING
Change this.
Change that.
Should have recorded what I was doing.
But I never do.
Someone reach a point where things are comfortable.
If not exactly working well.

Food Diary.
I have no idea what I ate today, but I'll bet I had coffee and cheese.

Time flies....
Tinkering with computers is a time
vortex.
Took a home tour in Hyde Park and
walked all the way.

Reading.
Reading old papers and Peter
the Great.

What's my
excuse today?
Tinkering with computers will cut
into the time actually used to write on them!

Exercise
I think I did some stationery bike
riding. I'm not sure. I guess I need to do this diary in real time.

Feeling
good, actually. Or, well, fine.
