an inexplicable letdown

I did the bike. I did my upper body. I climbed the 106 steps to the top of Mt. Bonnell. I took a Comtrex and it made me goofy. (I was either getting a cold or had allergies. My nose was drippy and my head a little achy. Nothing serious.) I ate a tortilla chip chili pie, some cheese, hot sauce and chips and one Clementine. I worked on Jack's 123's. (A book for my great nephew.) I downloaded pictures for FFP. I felt down. I talked to Dad and promised to come over tomorrow. I watched The Simpsons and Millionaire. I watched Third Watch and Boston Public and Crossing Jordan and (on tape) CSI. I tried to read but felt drugged. I read some of my book (Richard Russo's Straight Man) in bed until FFP came to bed and I fell asleep, determined to get up earlier for a workout.

I fell a little behind here. Sometimes I really feel the pressure to be having a good time or to be productive in some way since I'm retired. When I worked, well, that seemed to be enough.

And richly deserve.
To be described.
In the past tense.
