It's Monday...take charge! FFP is up really early. Going to work out, he says. I try to sleep some more but I toss around in the bed. Finally I'm up, dressed in sweats, have some coffee. My friend Pam comes by around nine and we go to the club. I have a good work out. We talk about goals and retirement. About how structure has to come from somewhere and if you have a job that structures a lot of your life. Home again we have a piece of fruit and she leaves. I have goals for the day but I decide to put off doing much until after lunch. I watch the stock market. enter some on my WEB site to watch, enter our basis in some. Then I eat some lunch (spinach, raw vegies, cheese, salad dressing), boil some eggs and make tuna salad. Finally, I start cleaning stuff out. To my credit, I put together a heavy bag for the thrift store and throw away some stuff, too. The evening is spent reading the papers, watching network TV shows. The TV doesn't thrill. I have some tuna salad, some Scotch, a clementine, some cheese, some more cheese and hot sauce and chips. What a great diet, huh?
