Our names are in the opera center now...will they take them down if we don't pony up the money they want???
"If only we'd stop trying to be happy, we could have a pretty good time." Edith Wharton
It is not enough to be happy; it is necessary, in addition, that others not be. |

a beautiful day in the neighborhood We are up around eight. I'm feeling both tired and the need to get out of bed. I bumble around the house, help Forrest a little with his bandage, start the wash. Then I go to the club. I ride the bike until I have theoretically gotten rid of the alcohol calories I had yesterday (a glass of champagne and a beer). I do some leg exercises. I drink a bunch of water. I'm trying to drink more water. Then I go up on Court 5 and hit some tennis balls against the wall and then serve a few. Back home I change wash and fold, have some nachos, help FFP rebandage and go outside. Trash day was yesterday so my yard waste cans were picked up. So I can fill them up again. I do that but soon run out of steam for yard work. I work on some of my computer projects and then FFP wants something to eat we don't have so I make a trip to the grocery for spinach, cheese, bananas, hamburger meat, hamburger buns, tartar sauce, salad dressing. We don't go out as much so it seems we are always buying groceries now. When I get home FFP has fried some catfish for himself and makes a catfish sandwich. I eat the fish he has left, drink a soda. Later I have some cheese and chips while watching TV. Yes, I have a terrible diet. We watch snatches of Hannah and Her Sisters and then watch The District and The Agency. I read a bunch of newpapers. Yeah, I'm pretty dull but it was a lovely day.
