get some sleep I am so far behind I'll never catch up. And yet I was contemplating going out of town for fun, going to Denver to see my family there. I even thought briefly about hitching a ride with a work buddy going to Colorado in a motor home with his family and riding back with the folks. But, what was I thinking? I have so much to do. And, if I can take a couple of days, I need to do things here. But this day, I need sleep. I get through the day amazingly well considering that I haven't slept more than a couple of hours. I have lunch at the old worn Mesa Hills Cafe. A big lunch of enchilada (spinach) and taco. With SuRu. But the evening finds me weary. I drink two Jack and waters over the course of the evening. I eat a little cheese. Lunch is still with me. I doze in my chair over the papers. I don't have much oomph. I get to bed early enough, too. There is nothing like a daily journal to make one aware of the passing of time. |
