slack Sunday
I was dragging a
little from the bout with the gut bomb cinnamon roll. But eXtreme dog
walking team was parked near Dawson and Daniel at 9am.
This was a neighborhood
the eXtreme team had never traversed. New things to discover. Including
a little pedestrian trail through an undeveloped park and the short, dead
end S. 6th St. where an Airstream trailer sits on a vacant lot.
We didn't stop for
a snack or coffee on this walk. Although we were tempted to go into El
Mercado for some tacos to take back to the tiny park we had seen when
the pedestrian trail emerged on S. 1st right next to it.
I really need to
eat better. Really. Do you think it would help if I recorded what I ate
here? Not meticulously, just best I could remember. (Oh, wait, some of
you are saying...you already do that!)
Home from this pleasant
walk, I helped FFP with some of his work stuff (downloading some digital
pictures, formatting them for his client) after he kindly made me a plate
of migas. (There you go. I said 'no' to toast. I have had umpteen cups
of black coffee. As usual.)
Ballet event. A
party for the dancers, staff and a few board members. At a nice house
with a beautiful garden in a cool neighborhood. We enjoyed the food and
the conversation with the beautiful, young people.
