spice and grease Trouble getting on the road to work again. Dang, that spring day washed clean by a rain...hard to just pass it by and go get in the car. So I worked. Have you ever been puzzling over how something worked and said to yourself, "Computers make no sense" But really they do. The silliest little thing. I was wondering why a mail message was staying in my box instead of dutifully going to a folder. Then I looked at the rule and sure enough, I had made a little exception to leave anything wiht 'Shark' in the subject in my inbox. You know...everything about computers are like that. Have an explanation. If we could see all the code (not to mention understand it) as clearly as I could see that rule, well, then, all would be knowable. SuRu and I got a card at some restaurant the other day for food.com. So we were looking for take-out in our zip code. And we didn't go get take-out, but we decided to go to Thai Spice. And they had a great buffet. Some stuff was weird like steamed eggs (which seemed boiled and breaded and kind of fried). But most of it was great including some of the curries and something called jumping squid. So what you see to the right says "inside are a better quality chopstick with smooth, rounded surfaces and no splinters." Or not.. Not satisfied with one quality dining experience for my day, I joined SuRu and FFP at Dirty Martin's. Well, himself wanted to get some pictures for his "must see in Austin" WEB project. Did I capture the experience with this one? There were no Rolls Royce automobiles in the parking lot. Ah, you think, what a slob and slacker. But no. Thus fortified with grease, the eXtreme dog walking team set out for a walk and did about an hour in the dark. We are bored with our neighborhood but things do change pretty often. Ironwood Gallery is gone and a Harley rental place is there now with a huge eagle painted on the building. Heck, I enjoyed peeking in the window at the furniture and art. Harley rentals? Rolls Royce rental next, I guess.
